7th Grade Football kicked off the season with a 32-0 win vs the Wawasee Warriors. The Tigers were led by the 11 to the ball defense, which allowed only Four 1st downs for the game. Josh Triplett, Konrad Kolembe, and Gunnar Whitaker led the Tiger attack, taking down the Warriors behind the line of scrimmage on numerous occasions. The Offense was led by QB Luke Finley who led the Tigers to four scores, and kicked 4 extra points. Scoring touchdowns for the Tigers were Knox Kesler with 2 touchdowns, Colton Anderson and Qwincy Trumble each scoring touchdowns. 

Next game for the Tigers 7th grade is an away matchup with Maple Creek, with the game scheduled to kick off at 5:30pm. 

8th Grade Football. In the 1st quarter the Tigers were down early after Wawasee had a rushing touchdown.  As the Warriors were driving down the field on their next possession, Anthony Morgan Intercepted a pass to give the Tigers the ball back.  

During the 2nd quarter With the Tiger Defense holding strong with Anthony Morgan again making some big important tackles the Tigers would stop the Warriors again when Wawasee tried to go for the first down on 4th and 5.  The offense then took the field and after a few good runs from Dias, Wolf and Graham, Dias was able to complete a pass to Graham for a touchdown.  After a successful P.A.T. With Eby as the Kicker and Phipps as the holder the Tigers tied the ballgame.  

During the 3rd quarter Brandon Wolf was able to run the ball for several yards.  With run support from Landon Graham the Tigers were able to score again in the 3rd quarter.

With some big run plays from Brady Wills Clayton Dias Landon Graham and Brandan Wolf due to the Offensive line consisting of Emery Kalinowski, Van Crisp, Nealy Wallace, Wyatt Lotz and Colten Beeler along with blocks from Miles Whitaker and Jacob Brumfield, the tigers were able to score again.  

The final defensive play and the play of the game goes to Zaeman Norman, who as a defensive lineman chased down the Warriors quarterback, was able to tip the pass into the air, and also intercept the ball and almost run it back for a touchdown. The Tigers would run out the clock and take the victory. Final score was Wawasee 14 Edgewood 28.
