September 1, 2020 Edgewood Announcements

Today’s Lunch Menu choices are BBQ Shredded Pork, Meatloaf, or PB & J Meal,
Baked Potato, Fresh Baby Carrots, Fresh Veggie Mix, Hummus Dip, Diced Pears and Milk. 

WCHS is getting ready to audition for their Fall play called the Greek Mythology Olympiaganza and we are in need of some extras in the play, with the possibility of a few lines. If you would be interested in this opportunity please email Ms. McAfee at dmcafee@warsawschools.org by Sept. 14th to let her know you are interested and ask any questions you might have. Initial rehearsals will be limited and COVID protocols will be in place at rehearsals. 

Today’s Football games will be played at home against Indian Springs. The seventh grade game will start at 5:00p with the eighth grade game to follow.  Students will need to be accompanied by an adult to today’s games and sit with the adult at all times.

EMS DRESS CODE PROCEDURES Edgewood will permit holes in the jeans that are fingertip length and below.    All tank tops and shirts must have shoulder coverage that is ID width.  Under garments should not be visible.  No midriff shirts showing any skin.  Students wearing leggings must wear a long enough shirt that covers their front and back side to be fingertip length. Skirts and shorts are to be fingertip length.

Students who violate the foregoing rules will not be admitted to class and if necessary the parent will be contacted. This will be addressed by teachers and the administrative staff.  These rules are in place so that we are demonstrating modesty as well as keeping the focus on the academic success for all students. Anything that is distracting to the educational environment is not appropriate attire for Edgewood Middle School.  Please consider how it looks through the eyes of a middle school student and would it be distracting to their learning.
